Beach 5s Australia proudly presented the inaugural OSMAC Beach 5s Superstars of Origin — presented by Ford Australia a one-of-a-kind event that made history in Brisbane.

For the first time, the fast-pace action of Beach 5s was brought to the heart of the Brisbane City on a custom-built pop-up beach, delivering an unforgettable experience for players and fans alike.

More than just a game, Beach 5s Superstars of Origin was a tribute to our Rugby League icons — the Origin Legends who helped shape the game. It celebrated their enduring skill, charisma, and legacy in a format that brought them back to the fans in spectacular fashion.

The event was captured in a one-hour TV special for Channel 9, with an extended feature airing on FOX Sports — shining a national spotlight on this exciting new chapter in footy entertainment.

All proceeds from the event proudly supported the Mark Hughes Foundation for Brain Cancer Research, uniting community, cause, and competition in a powerful tribute to legends past and present.
