From our season launch in Brisbane, the Beach 5s Summer of Footy tours some of Australasia’s most iconic coastal destinations, including Townsville, Newcastle, Forster, the Gold Coast, Mount Maunganui and, for the first time, Christchurch, New Zealand. Every event transforms the beach into a vibrant sporting festival where great footy, great destinations and great people come together.

Since launching in 2018, Beach 5s has grown into one of the fastest-growing beach football experiences in Australasia, bringing together players, families, communities and commercial partners through unforgettable sporting events.

More than just another competition, Beach 5s is a modern hybrid of Rugby League and Rugby Union, purpose-built for the sand. Fast, exciting and action-packed, it delivers non-stop entertainment for players of every age and ability while transforming beach destinations into vibrant summer sporting festivals.
