For the first time, Beach 5s will launch its Summer of Footy season in Brisbane, introducing a new chapter beyond the traditional coastal format. Set within the impressive Plantation Aquatic Centre at the bayside suburb of Gumdale, just 18 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, this event unlocks a new urban market and makes participation more accessible than ever before.

Delivered in partnership with Royal Life Saving Queensland, the Plantation Beach 5s Festival will transform the venue into a purpose-built Beach 5s arena, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere. Surrounded by resort-style pools, shaded picnic areas, barbecue facilities and family-friendly spaces, it provides the perfect setting for clubs, teams and supporters to enjoy a great weekend of footy and fun.

This strategic expansion removes many of the travel barriers often associated with destination events, activating a strong Brisbane drive market while creating new opportunities for first-time participants.

Men’s Prems, Open Men, Open Women’s, U17/18 Boys & Girls

Sunday 11th October

Youth & Schools (U12 Mixed, U13 – 16 Boys & Girls)

Winners of Seniors categories receive FREE Team Entry to another Beach 5s event of their choice

Team Categories and Entry Fees:
Social Men’s Beach 5s: $550 per team
Open Women’s Beach 5s: $550 per team
Youth Beach 5s boys & girls (U12s, U13s, U14s, U15s, U16s, U17s & U18s) $295

To secure your team’s spot in our event, the team registration must be completed via Rugby Xplorer and a deposit must be paid as part of the registration process at that time. There will be a final instalment to be paid closer to the date of the event. All registrations will be managed via the Rugby Xplorer system, so no deposit, no entry.

Deposits are as follows:

· Social Men Beach 5s	$250	· Open Women Beach 5s	$200
· Youth U12s to U18s boys & girls Beach 5s	$150

*Full refunds will be provided should there be any reason that this event may not be able to run, or postponed. The event organiser reserves the right to amalgamate divisions, within safety regulations, as entries or cancellations dictate
