RULES:

Beach 5’s is a straightforward and easy-to-understand contact sport. The game rules are clear and specially devised to make everything revolve around speed and excitement.  Beach 5’s is a fast-paced game with growing popularity among players and supporters alike.

With the introduction of Beach 5’s Tackle in 2024 a collaboration with the Australian NRL a new mode of the game was born. Beach 5’s tackle is rapidly gaining a reputation as an inclusive sport for all to enjoy.

For competition rules for all modes follow this link.

TEAM PLAYING UNIFORMS:

All players shall wear tear-resistant team uniforms – we encourage players to wear the same kit, with player’s numbers on the back.  Beach 5’s is played without footwear, although you can wear protective socks if you like.

Players are required to wear mouthguards.

In the event that two of the same team are registered in the same age group it is requested that one team turn their shirts inside out when playing each other (if required) – this will be under the direction of the match official for the game.

RESTRICTION OF ALCOHOL:

We ask your understanding that it is not acceptable to bring your own alcoholic beverages to the beach stadium during the event. Consuming your own alcoholic beverages in the stadium is not allowed during the entire tournament. The organisation is entitled to confiscate all alcoholic beverages people have brought with them.

There will be a full tournament programme and side events shared as we get closer to the tournament!  We will post the final schedule and draw once all registrations are complete.
