OSMAC Northern Australia Beach 5s Championship

8th - 10th NOVEMBER 2024!
BEACH 5’s Northern Australia Championship is an annual event in its sixth year. Townsville presents an ongoing experience like no other—in 2024, we “Gift a Beach to The Strand” to the local community.
We are delivering 250 tons of quality clean river sand to refurbish and profile the entire beach arena, which will allow Beach 5s Day / Night games to be run under lights.
Beach 5s is a contact sport of tackle, modified rules of Rugby League / Rugby Union, no scrums / no line outs, on a pitch that measures 31m x 25m – “Five” players in the field of play – up to “Seven” reserves with unlimited interchange.
Our Northern Australia event is open to all! Register a Premier 5s or Social team or come and cheer from the sidelines (free entry for spectators). Fun for all ages, from U12 Juniors to Men’s and Women’s.
Events Days:
Friday Night – Men’s and Women’s Open Round Games
Saturday – Youth Round Games & Men’s and Women’s Finals followed by an evening on the sand!
Sunday – Youth Round Games and Finals.
Winners of Seniors categories receive FREE Team Entry to another Beach 5s event of their choice
Team Categories and Entry Fees:
Premier Beach 5s Men’s $550 per team
Women’s $550 per team
Social Men’s Beach 5s $550
Youth Beach 5s boys & girls (U12s, U13s, U14s, U15s, U16s, U17s & U18s) $295
To secure your team’s spot in our event, the team registration must be completed via Rugby Xplorer and a deposit must be paid as part of the registration process at that time. There will be a final instalment to be paid closer to the date of the event. All registrations will be managed via the Rugby Xplorer system, so no deposit, no entry.
Deposits are as follows:

*Full refunds will be provided should there be any reason that this event may not be able to run, or postponed. The event organiser reserves the right to amalgamate divisions, within safety regulations, as entries or cancellations dictate
