“First there was light – and now, we’ve added night to the magic of the Gold Coast Beach 5s. For the first time, night competition will feature at The 5s, boosting the appeal of this magnificent festival. The night schedule will mix great vibes with fast-paced sport, good music, local food and a high-energy crowd.
As mayor, I welcome The 5s back to picturesque Greenmount Beach for the eighth edition of this family festival. Let’s continue to grow the Gold Coast 5s as more families, mates and enthusiasts embrace this incredible carnival.
See you at Greenmount – day and night!”
Gold Coast Mayor – Tom Tate
