Our inaugural UGL Capricorn Coast Beach 5s promises a thrilling and exhilarating recreational getaway for teams to play and celebrate their end-of-season farewell.
NRL Beach Tackle is a contact sport of tackle, based on modified rules of Rugby League, with no kicks or scrums – on a pitch that measures 31m x 25m – “Five” players in the field of play – up to “Seven” reserves with unlimited interchange. It’s a game that adapts to the beach environment!
It’s the game you know, but not as you know it!
Event Days – Based on Tide Times
Our Capricorn Coast event is open to all! Register a Premier 5s or Social team or come and cheer from the sidelines (free entry for spectators). Fun for all ages, from U13 Juniors to Men’s and Women’s.
Events Days:
- Friday 9:30am – 2:30pm – Youth/Schools (U13, U15, U17)
- Saturday starting at 10:30am– Open Men, Open Women’s
- Saturday starting at 10.30am – Junior Club Divisions (U13, U15 & U17 Boys and Girls)
